PM MODI INAUGURATES EXTENSION OF DELHI AIRPORT METRO EXPRESS LINE ON BIRTHDAY

Bhubaneswar: New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated the extension of Delhi Airport Metro Express Line from Dwarka Sector 21 to a new metro station ‘YashoBhoomi Dwarka Sector 25’. The Rs 5,400 crore first phase of the India International Convention Centre named YashoBhoomi in Dwarka was launched by the Prime Minister on his birthday. The convention centre is built over a sprawling area of over 73,000 square metres.
It comprises 15 convention rooms including the main auditorium, a grand ballroom and 13 meeting rooms with a total capacity of holding 11,000 delegates. Ahead of the inauguration, the Prime Minister travelled in Delhi Metro. After inauguration, the PM interacted with the employees of the Delhi Metro. The new station will enhance urban connectivity in Dwarka and facilitate travel to the India International Convention Centre from Central Delhi.
