Grievance Hearing Held at State Transport Authority
Bhubaneswar:Cuttack, 01/07: Under the direction of the state government, a grievance hearing was conducted today at the Cuttack office of the State Transport Authority. This program took place from 11 AM to 2 PM in the presence of senior officials from the Authority. These grievance hearings will be held every Monday. If Monday is a holiday, the hearing will be conducted on the next working day. Immediate steps are taken to send relevant officials for resolving grievances promptly. Additionally, a seven-day timeframe is allocated for resolving these grievances. During today’s session, three bus owners presented their permit-related grievances. They came from Balasore, Nayagarh, and Cuttack.
Apart from the Monday grievance hearings, the State Transport Authority regularly prioritizes resolving public grievances. Grievances related to transport services received via social media and the 24-hour call center (number 1800 345 1073) are also given significant attention.
At today’s grievance hearing, Additional Transport Commissioner Indramani Nayak, Lalmohan Sethy, Deeptiranjan Patra, Joint Transport Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Mohanty, STA Secretary Chinmayee Biswal, Kanakchampa Meher, Dillip Sahu, and Bijay Mishra were present, while Nodal Officer Arttatraan Mallik conducted the program. Sanjay Dutta, Saroj Behera, and Dolagobind Bag provided assistance. Arrangements were made to ensure that attendees could conveniently submit grievances and receive resolutions.
