Bhubaneswa..HEROES IN ACTION! BAR GIRLS RESCUE OPERATION
In a bold and swift rescue operation, Commissionerate Police under DCP BBSR, the HER Team, led by ACP Anjana Tudu and Dhauli Police, saved 6 young girls forced to become bar dancers from a nightmare of Nasha Bar, Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar. On August 7, 2024, an FIR No. 175 was registered under Dhauli Police Station filed after the victims disclosed harrowing details of their ordeal. The dancers reported that the owner of Nasha Bar, Shiv Prasad Mohanty, along with agent Jyoti Prakash Nayak, lured them under false pretences of teaching them dance and offering artist careers. Instead, they were coerced into dancing at the bar against their will, verbally abused, and unlawfully confined. The 6 victims, identified from Delhi & Punjab aged approx. (22-24yrs age group) were rescued and accused owner of Nasha Bar, Shiv Prasad Mohanty, along with agent Jyoti Prakash Nayak were forwarded to Court. And the victim girls were send to their home safely with the help of HER.
